Information on the NWTF Sanctioned Turkey Calling Contest
Feb. 21st at the Cherokee Casino Event Center in Claremore, OK
Registration starts at 10 am and ends at noon on the 21st. The competition will begin around noon on Sunday.
Jakes, Amateur, Owling, State, Friction and Open will be the divisions..
Promoter guarantees at least $500 in prize monies. Some sponsorship is still being considered.
Organizer is Alan Stie, current and past local, regional, state and national calling champion. He can be reached after 6pm at 918-381-2837

The Contests in Claremore strive to provide some of the best judges available. Judge panels include past State and World Champions. The contests continue to improve and to make a better contest experience for the callers. Improvements include Electronic Timers and Computerized scoring to name a few.
Contests are currently held in a large air conditioned room. Spectators can comfortably watch their favorite callers while enjoying a wide open 3rd story view of the Will Rogers Downs Race Track and Casino grounds. |
